The Annual Rotaract Charity play is a complete student oraganised theatre production which is put up every year with the ticket collection donated to various charities and organisation in and around karnataka.

Every aspect of the play , right from the directing ,acting , set design , marketing etc ,is completely handled by the students themselves and it also provides a platform for the students to showcase their acting skills.

The scripts are those of Broadway Plays with licensing from Samuel French.inc and people from all around karnataka and sometimes even outstation memebers visit NITK to experience it's theatre.

 

I have been a part of this theatre venture since my first year (2011).Starting out as an actor for the first two years, I then moved up to help out as an assistant director and finally directing the entire play during my final year at NITK.
